It's our lao da KweeSiang's bdae yesterday. He held a chalet at Costa Sands Resort. I made a mistake and tot it's DownTown East. LOL.
He had LOADS of guests. His entire family came down to help out with the BBQ and the food. There's this thingy like a you-zha-kuey bt they have this prawny inside. It's fabulous! They even had home made dumplings (made by my frens the day before the BBQ) and stingray! All my frens were red in the face and dripping perspiration bt still insisted to eat it. It's super spicy, with the homemade chilli Kweesiang's mother made. It's such a letdown that my throat would retaliate when it sensed the choking chili due to my flu, if not i'd gobble down the fabulous stingray along with my frens. Hehez.
As it's his 21st birthday, they sabo-ed him, pouring ice cold water over him for three times. LOL. The last time was a bucketful of icecold soapy water. Too bad a few drops landed lightly on the neighbours and they kicked up a big fuss. A fight almost broke out. Thanks to the bdae boy's mum who coolEd things down. She's great man. Can cook, and can fight. :P JkjK.
Looking back at his party, i kinda envy him all of a sudden. He had a great gf (who is also my fren), a warm and loving family (nt tat mine wasn't warm), a pool of great frens who made it down no matter what, and a bunch of great buddies. Life's certainly was almost perfect. You cant ask for anything else.
Not mentioning the emo part of mine yesterday, i had a great time. :)
